     I am a volunteer with Guardian Angels Cat Shelter. We have mostly regular type tabby cats we are trying to re-home and when we received this beautiful Persian wanted to get the word out past our community. We had several inquiries from around the country and now have an adoption pending. Our organization is an all volunteer group and we have around 100 cats we are trying to re-home. We receive no city, county or federal funds and operate by donations, fundraisers and our Thrift Store. We recently had to relocate and our volunteers worked tirelessly to renovate our new home. Our cats are housed in large, airy rooms not cages. Thanks Rescue Me for your work!

     My Persian was on Rescue Me for less than 24 hours. I had emails from California and South Carolina as well as Kentucky, A wonderful woman from Kentucky drove over four hours to pick up Petie. Petie absolutely loved her and I am so happy he found a wonderful home with an older couple who has one other cat 13 years old. I am so grateful for this site and the wonderful help that was given to me.

     Thanks to Rescue Me for helping me adopt my second rescue Persian (both male silver chinchillas though that wasn't a prerequisite at all). Giorgio is very shy but oh so sweet. Our young playful, very dominant male cat keeps trying to play with Giorgio but new kitty's still too intimidated. He just needs more time to adjust and we'll give him all the time he needs. I appreciate this rescue site so much. I've been trying to adopt the right Persian from a rescue for close to five years.

     I recently adopted Wiilie, a blue cream Persian. She has come into a household where I had previously adopted two Silver shaded Persian boys through Persian Rescue Me. Although it may take some time for Willie to adjust, even at age 15, she will adjust. The boys are waiting to have her join them. I believe Jeff has done a fine job with referrals to save beautiful Persians who through no fault of their own, find themselves without homes. I am quite happy with the owners who were so willing to help me with adopting. I think the owners rest easier knowing that the Persians have found a good home where they rule and I obey.

     Rescue Me creates miracles for Persian cat lovers who desperately need to rehome their beloved kitties. My two children were adopted today into a home that I call Disneyland for my kitties. I am so happy about their new home that even when I find myself crying because I miss them, I shortly end up laughing at myself, because of the wonderful home I know they have because of Rescue Me.      I volunteer with a small Persian rescue group. Delaney came to me as a foster after being rescued from a breeder where he spent the first few years of his life in a cage. He was afraid of people, had muscle weakness due to the inability to exercise, and didn't know how to play. With the help of our own Persian cat, Delaney came to trust us, learned to play, and became stronger as the weeks passed. He was able to run, jump, and climb to the top of the 5-foot cat tree with ease! The fear in his eyes was replaced by a beautiful sparkle! I posted Delaney on 'Rescue Me' a week ago, and had an immediate response from the family that would adopt him. The family came to meet Delaney, then had a family meeting and carefully considered if they would be a good fit for Delaney, and he for them. The following day, the family called and said they wanted to adopt him. Delaney has now gone to his forever home, where there is another cat, also a rescue, for him to play with. Thank you, Rescue Me, for helping us find the best home for Delaney! While it was difficult to let him go, we know he is in a very loving home, and we have visiting privileges!

     I rescued Gizmo from an apartment where he and his cell mate had been left behind. Gizmo was extremely shy, terribly matted, I could tell that the poor lttle guy had really suffered. I took him in and gradually he trusted me. I am unemployed and did not have money to get him the care that he needed. I posted on Rescue Me! and met a lovely young lady. We spoke on the phone and she filled out a questionnaire. Gizmo is in a good spot.

     A huge thanks to Jeff Gold and your organization! We are absolutely delighted to have found this gorgeous little senior calico Persian! Since retiring, my husband and I have devoted our home and time to helping kitties in need, particularly special needs and senior cats. In the past year, we lost two little Persian ladies (18 years old and 12 years old) to cancer. We love, love our other rescue kitties, but had an empty space in our hearts that only another little Persian girl could fill. We found Bugsy on Rescue Me!, and are thrilled to have been able to adopt her! This is the fourth kitty we have adopted over several years through Rescue Me! Thank you for being there for all of the kitties looking for their forever homes! And just a note to people thinking of adopting: Consider a senior kitty! Seniors Rock!

     I liked this cat enough that we traveled over 300 miles to get her. She is beautiful yet still shy since we just got her on Sunday. I go pet her and talk to her so she will get to know me. I have looked a long time for a Persian and now we have two because of Rescue Me! Just three weeks ago I adopted Atticus, a 1 1/2 year old neutered male, who is gray and white. Once they get to know each other, I trust they will be friends and get along well. We are so excited to have these precious cats as part of our family. Why Persians? My husband is allergic to all other cats. I don't know why he isn't allergic to these. The people we adopted from are very special people, and we sure do appreciate them.      All I can say is... Wow!!! This is the most valuable site for those who want to find a loving, forever home for their pets. I posted my beautiful adult Persian Cat, Buca, on a Saturday afternoon in hopes of finding the right family for her. I wasn't sure if it would work or how long it would take, but I knew I had to try. It was bittersweet for me, I knew we had to let her go but I was so worried that I wouldn't find the right someone who could love and care for her as we had for the last seven years. Well, I was pleasantly surprised to say the least. By Saturday evening, arrangements were made for Sharon to come out here. She came with her hubby and two of her children the very next day, and I could tell that she would provide all the attention and love that Buca deserved. I cannot thank you enough for helping me with this most difficult decision and placement. If it weren't for Rescue Me!, I don't know what we would have done. This site is invaluable to animal lovers. Thank you so very much. Although my heart breaks at the loss, I know I need not worry about my little lady's well-being because of wonderful people like you and your subscribers.

     So thankful to all the people who expressed interest in and providing guidance about Cartman, the stray Persian I found in my backyard. After several weeks of trying to catch him, and a surprisingly difficult time finding a vet who was willing to see him, I finally got him looked after and adopted today. Cartman purred during the exam and seemed to enjoy having his ears cleaned and his fur bathed. His new owners are nice people and are well-versed in how to care for a Persian. Such a relief, it was so hard to watch him suffer. Cheers, everyone!

     It was love at first sight! We saw Grace on Rescue Me!, contacted her owner by e-mail, and got an immediate response. We were so disappointed that she had already been spoken for, but then within an hour or so found out that the interested party had backed out. We drove three hours one way to get her and it was worth it. She needed a loving home. We wanted a cuddly kitty so it was a perfect match! I love how easy this process was. It helps knowing that animals are being rescued by your services. What a blessing for all!

     Thanks to Rescue Me!, I received numerous phone calls and inquiries about Dutchie. She belonged to my mother who recently passed away. I was able to screen the inquiries and find the best match for her. I found the perfect human companion, Sage in Orlando! I kept my promise to my mother, which was to find a great and loving home for Dutchie. When my mom passed I had so many people tell me it would be easier if I had Dutchie put to sleep, or dropped her off at the humane society. I could never do that to any animal, or forget my promise. Instead, I flew her with me back to Florida. When I saw Rescue Me! I thought I would give it a try. I knew if I put her out there for people to see someone would fall in love with her! That is exactly what happened. I am forever grateful. Thanks to everyone who called and their kind words. To all of you out there trying to find a loving home for a pet, never give up. Toni

     I posted my cat for rescue at about 10:15 AM on a Wednesday. Within a half hour I had a call. Within three hours I had four calls. By 6:15 PM, someone traveled 60 miles to my house and adopted the kitty. I was very happy that this worked so well.

     Persian Rescue was a great way for me to find a new home for my elderly cat. Within 2 weeks I received a response from a family in Baltimore. My husband and I took Pookie to his new home and checked on him after a week. The new family sent me pictures of him with their girls. This is a wonderful website and I truly appreciate the effort that Jeff and his team put into making this such a success. I don't know what I would have done with Pookie without this!      Calla was adopted today to a great family that had posted her Rescue Me picture on their fridge while waiting to make their trip from Northern Virginia to meet her. Rescue Me has worked wonders. I have found great homes for seven Persians that I rescued from a Cattery. In addition to the Persians I have placed three rescue kitties who were living in my office. One of whom was FIV positive. I wish I know about this site years ago. Thank you much.

     Hi Jeff, Thank you so much for offering this 'Rescue Me' service. I was really upset when I spoke to my vet and other pet organizations when they said they couldn't help me place my cats. I didn't know what to do until I spoke to a friend who recommended a rescue for Persian/Himalayan cats. I went online and said to myself....give it a shot, but I wasn't sure if this would really work and it DID!!!! I received emails, texts and calls regarding my cats, Tigger and Tiffany. Both families wanted them together which made me very happy. They have never been separated. On Friday I went to drop them off to the family I chose, a couple towns away from me. It was hard to see them go but due to my situation it was the best thing to do. The new family has been texting me saying they are very happy and that they are part of their family now. YAY!!!

     Hi Jeff, Yes, this site helped us find a great home for Hennie. It is just 1 1/2 days and his new family is working hard to make him feel at home but he is very sad and scared right now.      I am moving in less than a week and I was able to place my Kitty with a New Loving Family today! Placement took about 3 weeks. I only had three inquires; and the first lady that I spoke with adopted her. She and her children fell in love with Precious when they saw her on the Rescue Me Site. It took a little time for them to win over the man of the house - SMILE -, but, they did. I met them half way between their residence and mine; and once I met them, I had no more worries. It was Love at first sight!!! I know she and they will be very happy together. Thanks Rescue Me. A donation will be forth coming after the first of the month. I think this website is a great tool; and my mind is resting easy!

     Smokey found a wonderful home a couple of months ago to a lady who rescued a 7 year Persian that had been abused.      I posted my older kitty on here thinking I wouldn't get any responses. That left my only option the humane society, which I knew due to her age, she would more than likely would be euthanized. I was discussing the situation with family two days after posting her on the site, when my phone rang. It was someone wanting to adopt her! They saw her profile on RESCUE ME, and wanted to meet her.      I was contacted by my pet sitter about Koda's family leaving the next day for texas desperate for someone to adopt him before the family dropped him off at the local kill shelter. My husband was very unhappy with me for agreeing to foster him since my most recent rescue, a white female persian was extremely aggressive to other cats. But I knew how traumatic it was for her in the shelter and how she almost died as a result of a virus she picked up while she was there and I wanted to spare another cat from having to experience that if I could! My girlfriend sent me your website and I was delighted at the number of people who were interested in adopting him. I was able to place him in a home with children, but no cats as he was an only cat in his family. Thank the lord for people who do what you do for animals...! Thank you! Thank you!

     Hi Jeff, 'Baby Jane' has been adopted!!! I did get about 6 responses from your site! One of which is Barbara and David who adopted her, they screened the best of all of the responders, as Baby Jane had some special requirements. We met them on Sunday in Ocala, we drove from W. Palm Beach, and they drove half as far to meet us! What a wonderful ending for such a sweet girl that had suffered enough! We have gotten the news she is doing very well, they love her, and is sure to be very spoiled. I had Googled 'Persian Cat Rescue South Fla' and your site came up. It was soooo easy to use, as I have the hardest time loading pics, etc, not my thing....BUT your site was very easy, as it told me what to do, and wow! there it was.
