Maxi is a 4yr old front declawed Silver male Persian. His older owner turned him over to us as she was not able to care for him any longer. He lived with one person and no other cats. His first days with us were stressful for him, but he sat back and watched them play. His owner told us that he never played. Imagine that. Poor guy. Well we are hoping to find a home with other kitties for him to learn from and play with. He needs someone who is either a present or previous Persian owner. NO DOGS - NO CHILDREN UNDER 7yrs of age. WE DO NOT SHIP. You must travel to Phoenix, AZ to Meet Maxi. To start the process please fill out our application ... (Read More)at: www.ajsbestfriends.org (Less)

Casper is a 4yr old neutered White male Persian. He is such a sweet kitty, but he has such a sad past. He was not treated well at all in his former home. Rather than taking him to a vet, his owners threw him outside, like that would cure his Urinary tract infection. He was gone for several days, so when he finally showed back at his home, his owner took him to Animal Control and asked that he be euthanized. By the time we got him he was scared out of his mind, and it took us a week to be able to touch him. Now he gives us head bumps every time he gets the chance, and he has this high pitched chirp he uses when he wants us to come and pet ... (Read More)him. We had his old coat shaved off - it was matted and full of twigs and stickers. He is ready to find his forever home. We think he'll thrive in a home with NO DOGS, NO CHILDREN UNDER 7yrs of age. An older female PERSIAN OR HIMALAYAN for company, and a quiet human who has had experience with this breed. To start the adoption process please fill out the Cat Questionnaire at www.ajsbestfriends.org You can see this kitty by Appointment Only, but not until we receive the application. Thank you for thinking rescue and adoption....and for saving a life. It will be the best gift you ever give yourself and your family. (Less)
